The work of the study aims

• To assess the feasibility of setting up an independent performance and conformance testing programme for Intelligent Vehicle Safety Systems
• To define the needed methods and principles for verification and validation of
  ICT-based safety systems
• To evaluate if a consensus on the proposed principle can be achieved with
  different stakeholders

A consortium of Lindholmen Science Park AB, Volvo Car Corporation, Volvo
Technology, SP Swedish National Testing and Research Institute and VTI - Swedish
National Road and Transport Research Institute has been selected for the study.
